I think it’s more important than ever to keep funding China studies in the way ACLS has been doing: to make people in the United States engaged in the public understanding of China, so that our knowledge production is not just to repeat stereotypes, but to actually get knowledge and the information from the ground.
ACLS Community Perspectives
“ACLS Community Perspectives” highlights the many vibrant, diverse voices of the ACLS community: past fellows and grantees, leaders of our member societies, deans of our Associate and Research University Consortium institutions, participants in our higher education initiatives, and more. They each offer a unique glimpse into the impact of ACLS on humanistic research, publishing, the higher education landscape, and communities of scholars worldwide.
