Joy Connolly and Marwan Kraidy to Deliver Northwestern University Kaplan Critical Conversation in the Humanities
ACLS President Joy Connolly and Marwan Kraidy, Dean and CEO of Northwestern University in Qatar and Chair of the ACLS Board of Directors, will discuss “A Humanities for the Public Good” on April 27, 2026 as part of the Kaplan Critical Conversations in the Humanities series at Northwestern University. With each other and the audience, Connolly and Kraidy will discuss lessons from—and for—the humanities as we move through our current challenges and shape our collective futures.
The talk is open to the public and will take place Monday, April 27, 2026, at 4:00 PM in Guild Lounge, Scott Hall, 601 University Place, Evanston, IL.
