US Government Rescinds Policy On International Students
In light of mounting federal lawsuits and opposition from hundreds of universities, as well as many ACLS member societies, the US Government has rescinded a rule barring international students from online only classes during ongoing closures during COVID-19.
Several ACLS member societies signed on to a letter by the Modern Language Society sent to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) concerning its previous decision to end visa exemptions. Read more.
