This project is dedicated to interdisciplinary research on transnational and comparative literature. The research deals with “Narrating Worlds through Transnationalism,” meaning that it focuses on Aleksandar Hemon's and Semezdin Mehmedinovic's literary and artistic work, as well as on Contemporary Transnational American, Slavic, European, Post-Yugoslav and Bosnian-Herzegovinian Literature(s). Its greatest aim is to newly theorize and develop a pioneering scholarly work on Aleksandar Hemon's and Semezdin Mehmedinovic's Transnational Poetics, both individually and comparatively, and then to facilitate the future development of cultural and educational bridges and knowledge transfer between Bosnia and Herzegovina, other European countries, and the United States of America, striving to increase transcultural and transnational understanding of the world through the interconnected worlds of literature, art, culture, and academia.
