University Settlement (USS) is one of New York City's most dynamic social justice institutions, with an impressive legacy as the first settlement house in the nation. For 136+ years, USS has been an anchor in the low-income and immigrant communities where we work, pioneering programs in early childhood care and education, youth development, eviction prevention, literacy, theater and visual arts, senior services, and mental health. The Program Specialist will support the delivery of high quality and innovative services to their Older Adults programs with the goals of: promoting a life-long commitment to learning; the ability to live independently; opportunities to stay connected throughout their lives; and the ability to stay healthy in mind and body.
