Abstract

The project will consist of development of votive tablets of Bagan, the content of the votive tablets especially major scenes of life of the Buddha and the relation between Andagu and life of the Buddha. The aim of my research project is to bring out the differences between art and relationship of votive tablets of Pyu and Bagan period. Methodology: data collecting on specimens of votive tablets of Pyu and Bagan periods depicting the scenes of the Buddha's life and providing a research people. I'm confident that my research project will contribute to the art history of Southeast Asia.
