Abstract

This project is a comprehensive comparative analysis of William Shakespeare's “All the World's a Stage” monologue from “As You Like It” and the narrative of the television program “A Man on the Inside.” This study explores the intricate textual connections between the classical text and contemporary storytelling, examining how the seven ages of man manifest in the character Charles's life journey. By mapping narrative structures, thematic parallels, and symbolic representations, the research illuminates the enduring relevance of Shakespearean insights into human experience. The project will produce a scholarly paper, academic conference presentation, a specialized presentation for students, and accessible digital resources bridging classical literature with modern media analysis.
