Christiana Ares-Christian

Christiana Ares-Christian is the Project Coordinator for Intentional Design for an Equitable Academy (IDEA)’s Intention Foundry. She earned her B.A. in English Arts from Hampton University and her M.A. and Ph.D. in English from UCONN. Her work centers on the precarious situations of graduate students and contingent faculty, especially those of marginalized communities.

In her free time, she hosts gardening workshops in her local community garden and poetry workshops at local senior living communities. Christiana enjoys cuddling with her 12-year-old, deaf Yorkshire Terrier, Sir Gawain. On a warm summer day, you can catch Christiana and her husband in costume at her local Renaissance Faire.
