Highlights from 2024 ACLS Annual Meeting

The American Council of Learned Societies held its 2024 Annual Meeting in Baltimore, May 2-3, 2024.

Among the 200 attendees were delegates representing ACLS member societies, learned society leaders, deans and presidents from a variety of higher education institutions, funders, ACLS board, and past and present ACLS fellows and grantees.

In addition to opportunities to discuss pressing issues facing humanistic scholarship and higher education, participants enjoyed robust panel discussions representing a variety of perspectives on doctoral innovation, leadership, open access book publishing, and successful approaches to collaboration with the sciences.
