2025 Fall CEO Meeting

ACLS convened executive directors of its member societies in Seattle for three days of intensive meetings and peer exchange as part of the 2025 Fall Meeting of its Conference of Executive Officers (CEO). Hosted by Visit Seattle, leaders from more than 30 societies participated in this year’s summit, which took place Thursday, October 30, through Saturday, November 1.

Discussions included the role and relevance of academic societies; meeting member needs and defining the value of academic societies to members; positioning for the future; and enhancing board and executive director relationships.

Participants were also given exclusive tours of the new Seattle Convention Center and the famous Space Needle.

The ACLS Member Society CEO will meet again virtually in April 2026.
