The ACLS Conference of Executive Officers (CEO) meetings are an excellent opportunity to showcase your city’s facilities and attractions for an important group of meeting planners. The CEO is composed of the executive directors of the 80 member societies of the American Council of Learned Societies. The group’s fall meeting, held the first or second weekend in November, is both a city-hosted familiarization trip and a business meeting for CEO members. It meets in a convention city of interest to CEO members for their own organizations’ annual meetings and regional conferences.

If you are interested in hosting a meeting or have any questions, please contact James Shulman, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, by email.

Listed below are CVBs that have hosted CEO “fam” trips over the last decade, along with information on ACLS member society meetings booked and/or under consideration for each city.
