Abstract
“The Milindapañha”—a classic work of Buddhist literature featuring philosophical dialogues between Bhikkhu Nāgasena and King Milinda—is a highly esteemed treatise in the Theravāda tradition but has never been part of the Tibetan Buddhist canon. The scholarly Tibetan translation is undertaken with careful attention to doctrinal accuracy and linguistic precision. This project opens new opportunities for Tibetan-speaking communities to engage with early Buddhist thought and helps bridge two major Buddhist traditions through shared texts and values.
