ACLS Board Member Roderick Ferguson Publishes Op-Ed in Inner-City News

Roderick Ferguson, Professor of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Yale University and member of the ACLS Board of Directors, published an op-ed on September 23, 2025, in Connecticut’s Inner-City News. Titled “Charlie Kirk: Sinners and a Sinnerman,” the article connects the public response to Charlie Kirk’s assassination to the film Sinners, raising questions about the tension between honoring someone in death and acknowledging the impact of their words and actions in life.
