Position Description

The Petey Greene Program (PGP) is the largest provider of tutoring and academic support services in carceral and reentry settings in the United States. The PGP supports the academic and career goals of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people through high-quality tutoring and other academic programs, while educating volunteers and the public on the manifest injustice in the carceral system. The Strategic Programs Manager will work closely with the Executive Director of the Puttkammer Center to develop and pilot scalable evidence-based programs that center the voices and needs of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated students. They will utilize humanistic, system-based approaches to problem solving, applying their training in the humanities to identify trends in qualitative data and make sense of large bodies of information.
