Derisa Grant is a Program Officer in U.S. Programs. Prior to joining ACLS Derisa was an assistant teaching professor at the Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California. Derisa’s most recent research has focused on the classroom experiences of learner-centered faculty of color. Derisa holds a Ph.D. in the sociology of education from the Stanford University Graduate School of Education; master’s degrees in the social sciences and in communication from the University of Chicago and Stanford University, respectively; and a bachelor’s degree in government from Harvard University.
