Henry Glassie, scholar and professor of folklore at Indiana University, Bloomington, delivered the 2011 Charles Homer Haskins Prize Lecture on May 6, during the ACLS Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. Named for the first chairman of ACLS, the lecture series was established in 1983 and has as its theme "A Life of Learning."
