Pauline Yu Participates in #ScholarFest
ACLS President Yu Pauline Yu converses with Jeff Moser,
a 2014 Kluge Fellow.
On June 11, the John W. Kluge Center at the Library of Congress celebrated its fifteenth anniversary with #ScholarFest. Seventy scholars–all past, current or future residents of the Kluge Center–converged on Capitol Hill for the day-long festival of scholarship, featuring 30 "lightning conversations" and an afternoon panel on freedom of expression.
Pauline Yu serves on the Kluge Center Scholars Council, "a body of distinguished scholars, convened by the Librarian of Congress to advise on matters related to scholarship at the Library, with special attention to the Kluge Center and the Kluge Prize. . . . Through discussion and reflection, [the Council] assists in implementing an American tradition linking the activities of thinkers and doers, those who are engaged in the world of ideas with those engaged in the world of affairs."
