As program associate in the Office of Fellowship & Grant Programs, Nikhil Dharan assists in the administration of a range of ACLS programs designed for humanities scholars from the graduate student to the senior faculty level. He is a 2016 graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, where he double-majored in chemistry and history. His research interests revolve around the history of science, empire, and the environment in colonial India, but his curiosity stretches far beyond the South Asia. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, an avid reader of poetry, and a classical flautist.
