Elisabeta L. Pop
Elisabeta L. Pop joined ACLS in 2012 as program assistant for international programs. She is involved in coordinating the annual fellowship competitions for the Henry Luce Foundation/ACLS Program in China Studies, The Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation Program in Buddhist Studies, the Carnegie African Humanities Program, and the Program in East Europe Studies. She is also the managing editor of East European Politics and Societies and Cultures (EEPS).
She moved from Transylvania, Romania in 2004 to complete her higher education in New York. Pop holds an MA in politics from The New School for Social Research and a BA in government and politics from St. John’s University. She was an intern at the Permanent Mission of Romania to the United Nations and a program associate for the Transregional Center for Democratic Studies at The New School.
